"1/4 of Glória" explores the legacy of a cherished matriarch through the eyes of her four daughters, showcasing her enduring influence on their lives and the generations to follow in rural Portugal.

Glória is an omnipresent matriarch, a woman from the outskirts of Braga, who lives on in the memories of those who witnessed her and, unconsciously, carry on her fate.

Her voice is not recorded, and her image is limited to a handful of photographs. Like her grandchildren, the viewer will come to know Glória’s legacy through her daughters who, together with the subsequent generations, have been fulfilling their mother's unachieved desires.

A transgenerational story of grandmothers, mothers, and grandchildren about achieving belated success.
