Os cães ladram, mas a caravana não passa

Photobook
Work made in an academic context for the Photographic Narratives subject, promoted by the teacher Ângela Ferreira, in the Photography Degree at the University of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD).

Os Cães Ladram, Mas A Caravana Não Passa is a photographic narrative, materialized in a photobook based on Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis.

The confrontation with difference causes indifference. Is this statement a dogma? Is it always the case that people behave in this way because they consider themselves incapable of opening their horizons?

We have explored the physical and psychological decay that results from an anti-narrative of life and what comes from it. There is a rot that follows this anti-narrative that we have represented through the cycle of apples, spinning the rest of the project around it as if it were a prison that we leave and arrive simultaneously until our final moment is reached.
Are we born another or do we die another? In what way and on what side are we? How do we see ourselves and how are we looked at? What feelings are deeply rooted in us and what paths lead us?

Indifference is death and everything ends.
The caravan did not pass, but the dogs kept barking.
