Poster Collection #1

Poster Design
A collection of posters developed during a week, based on a random word list.

This particular set of posters was based on the whole social movement against marine pollution. A little play on words between the word float and the plastic pollution of the sea.

In the bottom of the poster we see “What do you mean? I’ve been floating all these years!”, referring to the way people often just go on living with no idea of the damage they are doing to the planet, as if they are floating in a perfect, dreamlike, ideal world, within their own reality, so as the plastic just keeps floating for years without a little change.

This one was made using the shoe symbolizing the victims of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
In addition I used a Hitler’s quote, famous for it’s clear anti-semitism and controversy, but with a catch of using a single word in red to subvert the original meaning of the quote.

“The national state... must” *NOT* “set race in the center of all life.”
